This year the Midland Daily News has teamed with a couple of new sponsors in the Fast Lane Pro Racing Contest. Burt Watson in Freeland, Higher Image Design in Freeland and of course or loyal contest sponsor Freeland Fast Lube. Another major change you will see this year is the overall local grand prize winner will receive $100 cash.
Burt Watson has generously agreed to donate several prizes for our contestants as you will see listed with the winners' page on this site. The prizes range from an Extreme Car Makeover valued at $99, a value package car detailing valued at $40 and a vehicle emergency kit. Freeland Fast Lube has again donated a free oil change or $25.00 off any service. Our newest sponsor Higher Image Design specializes in screen-printed apparel, promotional items, graphics, Web Design, Signs, banners and more. Higher Image has donated a $25 in store credit. All of these prizes will be awarded every week and the winners will be able to claim their prizes with the retailers by visiting them and confirming their win by showing their I.D. and mentioning the Midland Daily News Fast Lane Pro Racing Contest.
Please Thank our sponsors when you visit as these prizes are donated to our contestants in order to make the contest more exciting to play.
How does it work?
Just pick the 10 drivers you think will finish 1st through 10th for each race
and your top 15 races count as your overall score.
If a player has not selected any drivers 15 minutes before the TV start time, the computer
will automatically select last week's team for them (or the most picked drivers if this is the first week).
A player can change his team each week, but if no changes are made the previous weeks team will be the
default team. Drivers are awarded Fantasy Points depending on how they finish
and the total Fantasy Points for all your drivers in the race becomes your Team
Score.
Can I play with a "private group" of friends and family?
Yes. After you register and log in, just click on "My Private Groups" which will appear in the upper-left hand corner of the page. After the page loads, click on "Create a Private Group" and follow the instructions.
